April News

Brian the Barbarian

We finally have a drummer candidate: Brian of Philadelphia. He was the first to establish a FUX website back in '96. It was under bigfat.com/fux, and tons of people ended up with gross fat-chick porn sites trying to find it. Thanks to the new, modern MySpace way of internet networking we just get tons of GOOD looking sluts spamming our site now.

Brian debuted in Philly in March at our most favorite no-holds-barred, anything-goes, knock-down-drag-out haunt, THE WHISKEY DIX.  We play there on this April 11 as a special appetizer show prior to the IGGY POP & THE STOOGES show.

March News
This Month's Drummer

Brian Airgood, a member of the Fux Force before I even knew him, stepped up to the plate this month to become the next Fux drummer.

Brian directed and filmed the FUX video with the Man On Fire and the Sterling Hotel Concert. Some of that is on the YouTube site. He is still holding onto most of the film so now maybe we can get it released since his ass stands to gain a little more from it!

Brian established the very first FUX website, back in 1997, when having a website was not easy to do. There was no myspace with every little 14 year old girl posting sites with their favorite colors listed. It was an HTML program that excluded all but knowledgeable computer geeks.

He believed in the FUX from the beginning and supported us, so it's with great pleasure that we welcome him into the Fux Family beginning with the March 10th show in Philly at the Whiskey Dix.

Don't miss it!!

February News
need another drummer!

"I don't think I can do this Roman" ... "Oh, my van is broken!"... "I'm too busy to play once a month Roman"... "Oh I can't get off from work... on any day ...or any night... ever" ..."I don't think it's my kind of music"..."it pays HOW MUCH? Forget it!"

We're back to the drawing board you fucking Allentown fuxks. Who's out there for us? Just contact us now if you want in on the Sterling and Croc Rock jobs...pusssies!

January News
New FUX Drummer

We were going to take a break in January because Johnny Numbers is up to his eyeballs in hustles, shenanigans, and murder charges but a few Allentown jobs just landed in our lap.

Timid and I dredged the homeless shelters, mental institutions, and insane asylums (saw a bunch of my friends there) for a replacement drummer that was fast, crazy, insane, and will take a lot of abuse for very little pay....

His name is Kevin and he is having the time of his life playing for The FUX. Wait until you see this guy! His playing is insane! He is an undiscovered MONSTER for punk rock.

Watch for him at the Allentown shows, Wed Jan 31st  and Sat Feb 3rd. Recently we have been added to the Annual Allentown Oi Fest in May. Details to follow.

Happy Fucking 2007!!!

The Year In Review

The FUX had a few lucky breaks this past year, join me for a quick review. Click on the photos to go to some of the specific dates for more photos.

We can trace it back to Day 1 of 2006, when we played The Last New Year's Party Ever at the famous CBGB's on December 31st, 2005.

Goodbye 2005,Goodbye CBGB's

Later in the year, on the anniversary of NYC's tragic 9-11 disaster another famous venue for hard and original action, The Continental, held a memorial to the event and also to close it's doors on live music, and again, the FUX were a requested  featured highlight.

Another one bites the dust: Goodbye Squire Stratocaster, goodbye Continental

New York City was taking notice and so was the notorious Whiskey Dix in Philadelphia. We became a monthly exhibit along with their fire-breathing (literally!) crew. Once a month and occasionally on a special occasion, like the Toys-For-Tots Run, The FUX holds court.

Burning guitars and burning rubber are on the menu at The Whiskey Dix, 7th St, Phila.

Meanwhile back in NYC we were paying our dues in Midtown, Chinatown, Brooklyn, etc. It was only a matter of time before we were picked up by Frank Wood Productions and became welcome at anyplace that Frank could pull it off in, the Full Fux Fire Show a MUST!

Frank Wood announces his latest discovery, the FUX, at Otto's Shrunken Head, NYC

But that lead to some beautiful places too....Frank has contacts everywhere! Like SUNNY MIAMI FLORIDA! We toured there staying on South Beach during Halloween weekend and it was a non-stop freak-a-zoid fest.

Our drinking and lounge area at one of the SHITTY hotels we stayed at while in Miami

There was plenty more...like playing with great acts, playboy models, NYC stuff....we got the MySpace site  going....and it all came to a close by the end of 2006 with Yours Truly, Roman, finally getting back a driver's license, a Mercedes, and Broadband technology. As a result we are finally getting hip for the New Year of 2007.

Visit the YouTube site (FUX links) to see some long overdue clips of fire, way better than ANY fire action on that site anywhere.

Visit MySpace.com/thefux and search for The FUX.

Visit your local grocery store. Call the local radio station. Call your Congressman...and say out loud, say it proud: THE FUX

January 6

Well hello the year 2007 marks the 10th year of the FUX...we are trying to get the website revamped a bit for the new year, eliminate some problems and such, so please stay tuned and be pateint.

Meanwhile, we have some video on YouTube.com so check out that. We also have the main info updates on the MySpace site, ask your kid sister to get off of it long enough to check it out. And of course, you can surf this site forever almost, 10 years worth, finding pictures we can't even find anymore.

Later Fux

December 18, 2006

It's almost Christmas but already I've had more gifts than I can imagine! First I got my driver's license back, the someone just GAVE me a car! (Everyone was so tired of driving me around!) And what a car! Merrry fuXmas!

Yeah man, a nice German built tank of a Mercedes. But what does that mean to you? Well, for one thing, you don't have to haul my ass around anymore. Two, I book more shows. Three, I eat better. But usually around this time of year I drop back, hibernate and record in the studio. So the shows may be few for the winter unless we pick up a tour south or something. But there's a few regular joints we hang at in NYC and Philly so stay tuned for your Fux Fix in those cities.

We finally return to Allentown for an ALL AGE show with the Murder Junkies, Gouhls, Rabies and a bunch of great local punk bands at the Sterling Hotel. Its two stages, music all night, 12 bands, only 10 bucks...easily worth the price of admission. It's been a long time since The FUX played there, so don't miss it. I play there with Jeff Cobain's band 77 Balloon Knot occasionally...but don't mistake that for the full-on Fux Show.

Fux Friday December 22 at the Sterling. 7 PM

After that, who knows? Talk to ya next year fuckers unless I see your ass out in the battlefield at The Sterling!

Roman & The FUX

Monday November 20

The only shot I have right now of the young honeys strutting across the Fux stage at the last Philly show.

All the photos from Florida are up. I just got some more Philadelphia Bike Run pix from Timid but my scanner broke. Fuck! And they're great ones Tim! With the chicks on stage and stuff...I'll get our webmaster Don on the scene over the holidays and get them up...fuck.

On top of that my tech says I started splitting my newest FUX strat already. Fuck! Well, what do I expect, throwing on the ground and shit from New York to Miami...it was worth it! We have a great time. You should join us and be in all these photos.

We highly encourage you to jump on stage with us. Jump right on top of us. Help me light things on fire. Good, healthy, cathartic ANARCHY. It's PUNK ROCK man!! There's LOTS of thing we can do at a FUX show besides drink and drive. It's good for you!!

We got two local (Northeast US) shows coming up before Christmas: Philadelphia (Dec 14) and Allentown, PA (Dec 22). Allentown is an all ages show with the Murder Junkies.

Consult your physician before attending.

Fuck!

Sunday November 12, 2006

OK sorry for taking so long and here's the explanation along with the apology:

We had been planning the Fux Florida trip for a while and it was our first excursion under Frank Wood's Promotions, so I considered it a bit of a test. It was far away, the money was poor, the promotion was minimal, the expense great. The drive was grueling and exhausting.

But the payoff was a beautiful part of the country, getting our foot in the door of some good venues, and performing well to new faces and being asked back. We stayed in a beautiful hotel and saw cool, great and beautiful things. The famous South Beach and the famous Miami nightlife. And of all days, on Halloween weekend. Wow! Think of the freak-a-zoids you're going to see in a town where they already sunbathe topless.

Johnny enjoyed being in yet another new town since he joined the FUX, and Timid enjoyed going to bed early in each of them. We all had a big thrill wandering around looking at things. So I call the tour a success, even though we came back dirty and poor. Next time we'll go longer.

I apologize Florida for taking so long to get pictures posted. I arrived home to my new digs which I had just moved into and had a show already. It was all hectic from the moment I stepped foot in the door. Then we played Philly that weekend. That was insane and we had a lot of friends and new FUX interested in the stickers so I got busy the next day, first with the biker stuff and now I'm systematically getting all you F-L-A  shots together. Stay tuned, the pictures will get up.

October 17, 2006

With Playmate hottie Becky Wunder...the magazine, the T Shirt, and The Real Thing

Man holy fucking girlie show! Hanging with former FUX guitarist Jeff Cobain at the Playboy signing was a blast! Wow Becky looked perfect Jeff! A funny note about the T-shirt: Jeff printed them up without Becky's knowledge...it was a picture he had of her in her pre-modeling days, when making it in the biz was just a fantasy and she was still practicing...on bananas. Man, what a tight little hot body. Oh well....see more of the show with Jeff that I sat in on in the Gallery Section.

Speaking of hot bodies, we are scheduled for a few dates in sunny Florida, land of sun and fun. Consult the dates section or front page for the links and details. We look forward to seeing some old Florida friends if any of you remember us from our last tour through there in...what Tim? 2000 ?

Upon return in November we will play the Toys For Tots bike run in Philly at...where else? The Whiskey Dix, where FIRE + FUX = FUN

Sept 11, 2006

As I type this my head aches from the NYC show last night...and it gets worse as the TV rebroadcasts the 9-11-01 stories. It's haunting hearing these old broadcasts with reporters and police trying to cope with such an unbelievable disaster.

Just after midnight, officially 12:05 AM September 11, 2006, The FUX came onstage at The Continental. It was to commemorate another tragedy, the last week of live music here, as yet another club is giving up on having live music to survive in the big city. (CBGB's completely closes this month, and relocates it's artifacts to Las Vegas to become a gross tourist attraction museum-bar)

The Continental history of the FUX goes back pretty far. Timid (FUX bass) reminded me we played there back in, what? 1999? but my more recent early memory was being asked up in 2000. A year later history changed, and Johnny Heff from the BULLY's lost his life as a NYC firefighter in the disaster. (See The BULLY's)

Two (?) years after that we played a benefit for Johnny with a full night of great NYC bands on Sept. 10. I'll never forget driving into town and seeing the twin towers Of Light still shining for miles up into the NYC sky. We went back again and again to play with The Dwarves, The Exploited, The Dickies.

And now we go back, Sept. 10, 2006, and literally play on 9-11 as the clock strikes midnight. The stage was full of broken glass, spilled beer, and old set lists as we headlined a 14 band line-up. Insane. We pulled out all the stops, lighting the guitar, falling on broken glass and getting cut, adding our own blood and sweat to the stage in cute lovable FUX way.

Man I have to turn off this damn TV. The memory is clear enough. Johnny, the Towers, the Continental, The Fux, all part of history...

Timid's Total Recall - The Facts

Timid Bass sent me these more accurate dates:

Spring 2000 - with The Clap, we heard about the Continental from playing with FEAR
August 2004 - took a van of friends up from Allentown, PA
September 10, 2004 - John Heff NYFD tribute
October 2004 - Brought in to open for The Dwarves
December 2004 - with The Exploited
July 2005 - with the Dickies
September 10, 2006 - our last show there ever?

Friday August 31

Book 'em!!

Well somebody is going to have a shitty holiday! Johnny Numbers called me from jail in the Poconos to blow off our last Philadelphia show of the summer.

Apparently they're always finding a dead body up there on the Appalachian Trail and so often Johnny just happens to be nearby. It's a coincidence! It's all hearsay and allegations and none of the charges ever stick. He's been cleared of every one of them in the past anyway! (How do you think he got the nickname "Numbers"?) I'm sure you'll beat this one too Johnny, good luck!!

The FUX plans continue without interruption for a tour down to Florida in October and meanwhile the Whiskey Dix offered to give us a nice show with a good headliner before we go. Other than that we are still supposed to be there once a month, which we look forward to for the rest of the year and 2007. Thanks all you Dix!!

Email Johnny now and tell him to have faith! Johnny "In The Joint" Numbers

Tuesday August 29

Freaky! New Fux T- shirts, one for teachers to hate, one for under the radar

Philadelphia: Sorry Philadelphia, or South Street we should say. The 218 Club closed before we could even get a chance to burn it down! Fuck! Oh well, that won't stop us - see us Thursday August 31 at our usual Philly haunt The Whiskey Dix where we are heartily encouraged to FUCK SHIT UP. Yeah! Our kind of place!!

New York City: The Continental, second only to CB's with the cutting edge of live and new original music (Blondie, Iggy, Muprphy's Law, Dwarves, you name it!) is discontinuing live music but not without having everyone they love back to go out with a bang, from Murphy's Law to the FUX. We'll all be there. It's like a solid week of bands all night long. See the FUX do it up Sunday September 10 at Midnight!! All acts are only 15 minute sets, don't fuck up, be there for us (official Fux stage time 12:20-12:40)

Tour News: NYC promoter Frank Wood packs up the FUX in his ol' kit bag and sends us down for some sun in Florida for the last week of October to intercept the next Tsunami and start some legendary brush fires. Stay tuned for details Florida!

Baltimore: We didn't forget you, we gonna try to see you on the way to or from Florida. All you other Stars and Bars waving motherfuckers too!

Don't forget to check out the new T-shirts. Contact Roman for a deal. Tell him "fuck you!", he respects that. TSHIRTS. The white shirts have the FUX written on it nice and obvious for those times when you are accepting no apologies. The black ones are a little more subtle, you have to look pretty close to the emblem's border to actually see "thefux" written out. No one over 40 will see it without their bi-foculs.

Fucking August! It's hot!!
August 9, 2006

The Fux just came off of a NYC, Philly, Baltimore weekend and return to a more stable traveling environment this month in Philly by playing two shows there a the end of the month: The 218 Club on the hippie trippy frazzle razzle rowdy crowdy South Street (218 South St) and the notorious Whiskey Dix, which has become a home of fire breathing brothers to us and given us a last-Thursday-of-the-month regular slot. Don't miss these shows Philadelphia. Don't take your Fux for granted.

In other news, the illustrious Frank Wood makes plans to send to Florida for October, meanwhile we'll party with him at several NYC venues...stay tuned for more info on... an UNPLUGGED Fux show? Hmmm...never burned an acoustic guitar....Ottos Shrunken Head, NYC...stay tuned

There are new T-shirts on the way, two different designs, and we are re-stocked with the last Fux release, "I'm On TV".

Roman continues side projects of  jazz & blues, Johnny Numbers works on his yacht and a solo project, Timid & Jesse sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g.

May Shit: Friday May 12

Hey Fuck-a-roos. The message board seems to be working now, although it is a free, public-accessible site that I dropped in there when the old Valiant Death supplied board started getting too much spam on it.

That means that most expletive deletives (fuck, shit, god-damn, motherfucker, cocksucker, etc.) seem to get replaced with an asterisk (*) but hey,  I guess it's safer in the long run, especially for a parent tapping into our Fux Universe message board by mistake...you fuckers!!

In more current Fux news, we've added a Brooklyn show to our May schedule. All of NYC must attend! Frank Wood said so!!

Later you Fux. See ya on the message board. Go now! Click MESSAGE BOARD !

Tuesday May 2
Happy Anniversary!

Happy 1st Anniversary FUX COUNTER.

It was a year ago that we finally agreed to give two fucks about whether anyone visited the FUX site or not. We already knew we had the traffic, we had other website nerds giving us stats regularly, plus those damn stickers were all over the place, from Chicago to East Germany, getting us hits constantly. So we finally added the counter April 13, 2005.

The FUX had 8372 hits. Our calculating friend Don immediately pointed out that means:

697.666666  hits per month
 23.2555555 hits per day
    .9689814  per hour
    .0161496  per second

Happy 10th Anniversary ROMAN!

It was TEN years ago this May that they released a bitter, pissed-off inmate named Roman from prison, practically guaranteeing him no future and a return trip to the joint and a revolving door life of recidivism. Now, here he is, playing in bands, organizing festivals, and teaching the kids of cops, judges, and lawyers. He's taken the FUX to new cities, states, and countries (as soon as they let him off of parole.) We hear they're even going to let him DRIVE AGAIN...someday. Good show old boy!

And finally, Happy Anniversary Message Board.

Except we don't know how long our last label VALIANT DEATH RECORDS supplied us with one, but we're free of their contract now and want our own...DAMMIT! On it you'll see a link to Roman Music too, Roman's other politically correct musical bands. Remember, he's on the RIGHT side of the law now...usually.

So it all comes full circle. Join us now for another summer of record breaking violence and perversion for creating many many new memories and anniversaries. We begin with a regular monthly show at the Whiskey Dix, full of fire, flesh, and stuff we shouldn't really publicly admit...

A friendly suggestion at The Whiskey Dix

April shit:

The FUX are playing South Street in Philadelphia and have secured a regular monthly slot at the Whiskey Dix in Philly also: every last Thursday, with redneck fuckers SPUR. Often we combine forces on a few numbers just to take it over the top. All of that and fire too!

Once again New York City had one of their premier Heads Of Rock contact us too. The FUX will headline a show featuring The Bullys and other NYC notables at the Wreck Room in Brooklyn by request of the illustrious Frank Wood on Friday June 23rd. Check out his site and bio, wow, fuck! OK Frank, if you say show up on that day, that's when we will.

April Fools Day, 2006

Happy April you Tax Fux

To get ready for beautiful weather, cook-outs, bikini's, and heat waves we begin a stretch of shows in our favorite Cheesesteaks - for - Breakfast town of Philadelphia this month of April.

It's not quite HOT yet but warm enough for the Philly hotties to be strutting their stuff, titties popping out, piercing going to new levels, and tattoos on kids barely old enough for independent decisions.

Don't miss our attempts to further encourage, pervert, and take advantage of all of this along with actual photos in the three upcoming Philly shows. Two on South Street, and one at your favorite underwear-littered Harley hangout the Whiskey Dix.

Maybe an All Age April 15 show in New Jersey too...fucking little kids are trying like true motherfuckers to pull off a venue for the FUX, stay tuned.

March 14
Wow what a weekend. The Whiskey matched the FUX flame for flame. There was fire on the bar, fire on the stage, fire coming out of people's mouths, guitars and cocks and panties! You got to see it to believe it. Be a part of the action! Be a part of the fun! Be a ...fucking PART of something!

The Whiskey Dix is welcoming The FUX every last Thursday of the month, don't miss any of them. Nothing lasts forever...especially when you're lighting it on fire all the time.

March 9

OK It's time to reload the burner for the Friday March 10 Philly show but just confirmed: South Street's 218 Club in Philly on Monday April 3rd. Then Philly again, The Dix, every LAST Thursday of the month, beginning April 27. Don't miss ANY of these shows you fucking faggot fucking baby-head fucking fux! Stop justifying your existence by sitting in front of a computer downloading virtual bullshit and go DO SOMETHING. Jesus Christ, go to work and have something to talk about besides a TV show. Fuck

March 1st

Hey all you fuckers!! What the hell? Underwear hanging from a chandelier and moose horns? A nice stage and a 48 star American Flag? Harley burn-out contests inside?

The Fux are finding new friends and a new home at The Whiskey Dix in Philadelphia. Local act SPUR rock the joint on a regular basis and we've enjoyed having Johnny Spur jump up with us to chop heads. A good old fashioned "cutting contest" in punk rock? It's true. And it's a blast! You really must see it, it's worth your time.

We have been asked to perform the LAST THURSDAY of every month. The Whiskey Dix is easy to get to, it's right next to the Electric Factory. 7th & Spring Garden. See you there.

It's not just the Dix diggin' the Fux. The 218 Club on South St. has missed us too, and want us there for some of their Monday Night Punk Shows. OK, we'll come. South St. is fucking FUN! We'll do a March and/or April show.

And don't worry NYC, we haven't forgotten where the Center Of The Universe is. Dates for the City are being negotiated. See you in the Spring

February 4

Sorry I'm such a mess, but an extreme run of disaster hit the FUX camp and we had to cancel a NYC for the first time in a very very long time. Stay tuned for more details...I have to attend a funeral right now, but will be back with more info on upcoming events for February: a show or two, some new photos, band status, the latest deaths, etc.

January 3

The FUX went out of 2005 in a bang and thank you to all who had a blast with us. Don't let anyone kid you, Philly and NYC are the fucking best cities between the two frozen polar caps!

A quick highlight: In Philly The Fux had Johnny from The Spurs sit in and play lead guitar on a number. The Fux were promptly welcomed back to the Whiskey Dix for a show in February and March.

Then it was  FUX, NYC, NYE, and CBGB! The Last New Year's Eve Party Ever. While the various members of the FUX collected their wits to meet at Bleeker & Bowery, Fux Photographer Don Shatto snapped away as Roman and Elli did some re-con work through the subways to Times Square. When we get the pix from Don, you'll have stuff from CB's plus the Big Countdown, so stay tuned.

Our thanks to James , Guy, & Becca from NYC's Strike First Music who organized the CB's show. Watch for their links on this site in the future as they establish Payback Tours and their clothing line. Also to Super Ego in Philly for recognizing us at the bogus Emergenza scam and getting us in a good 'ol boy rockin' rebel joint in Philly, the Dix.

One last note: Congratulations to Brain Airgood, FUX video director, for his new position at Comcast. Brian will be editing and releasing the official FUX video and DVD in March, so expect a big fucking party...somewhere!

December 28

Merry fuXmas!! Happy Fucking New Year!! We had a wonderful fucking holiday so far and all us Fux hope the same for you. May you have lots of FUCKING in the NEW YEAR.

Philadelphia and NYC have two great happenings, don't miss it:

In Philly The FUX make a debut at Whiskey Dix and with your hard swinging Dix there supporting us maybe we'll find a new Philly home for The Fux. Here's a link to the joint: http://www.whiskeydixsaloon.com

OH NO!!!! New York is hosting the last (Sob!) New Years Eve party for CBGB's ever. It's official, they will pay rent until next Halloween 2006 and then "voluntarily remove themselves." And don't let any press fool you - they will be GONE from NYC. They will become a Las Vegas parody of themselves like The Hard Rock Cafe and ... Ronald McDonald! So this is you last chance to experience a New Years moment here. There will be many bands and it will stop in time to get to Times Square. Be a part of this moment in history...or watch it real drunk on TV ya lazy cunts!

And to make it special, there will be T-shirts commemorating the event. But not many... IF YOU CAN FIND THEM, GET ONE!

December 13

We got the Printable Posters links working! That means you can get FREE fucking posters right off your damn computer, in glorious fucking color! Great photos suitable for fucking framing. Go to the GALLERY link, find the PRINTABLE POSTERS link.

Also new is our own PayPal link, so you can have The FUX latest CD cheaper than you can get it anywhere right through our site. Go to the MERCH link. We'll take money orders too, who won't? Contact us about that shit. And there's more stuff coming, Jeff is working on the shirts, we have stickers that we give out free with orders...cool ones too, not stupid paper ones run off on a printer...so order something! Be the first one displaying that horrible, parent - provoking, authority - condemning, three letter word: FUX!!

Last but not least our return to Philly was wonderful. Despite a big snowfall and some pussy bands canceling, we had a good crowd, great action, and... no arrests! Fucking-A it was great. You get another chance to see what everyone is talking about at The Whiskey Dix on Dec. 29. Get out of the house and SEE THE SHOW! The best act in town.

December 6

Hello Fuckheads. As you know by now we are confirmed for CBGB's on New Years Eve so make plans to get up there. It is the most insane day in the year to be in the most insane city in the world. Figure on it being a traffic nightmare, but enjoy the fact that The FUX are probably playing the last New Years party CBGB's will ever have. This is going to be a HUGE event, with T-shirts printed up for it and shit like that, so don't miss this!! So far it's a $10 ticket that give you entrance to both floors...details still coming .....

In other news I'm sorry to report that after dominating the LV Music Awards for 5 years in a row the FUX won NO awards this year. I cried and cried and cried until my cock fell off. Sob. But congratulations to Catty's own AMBERGRIS, who are true punk rock and I'm glad to see them get the award instead of some shit-pop-rock-trend-covering band who think they are punk because they aren't old enough to get served yet.

Getting back to reality, here's the plan for the Philly Fux show this Friday. We haven't been in Philly in a while so we're happy to return to Fux drummer Johnny Number's home. We always enjoy the good attitude of the Barbary, but if you can't catch us there don't miss our Thursday 29 debut at Whiskey Dix during the Xmas-New Years party week.

Rich, from the Barbary, writes:

There's two in Philly, one in NYC in January. Meanwhile, all us here at FUX Central wish you a Happy Turkey Fucking! Be sure to log onto the Fux site all weekend long and use the message board to say 'Hi' or better yet,  'Fuck You'

Drop out of the rat race! Go over the edge and convert to Fuxism! You know you want to! What's the use of worrying? It never was worthwhile. So pack up your troubles in your old kit bag and smile, smile, smile.

THAT'S$&#$@#%%* FUCKING *%@^&*(^$  RIGHT!!!!!

NYC is really all that matters isn't it? Where does every fucking band you meet in any country ask you about? "Did you ever play at CBGB's!?" I've heard that in 10 different languages.

And where did the great punk acts start? When they were unknowns, nobodies, starting the new trend, playing to the insightful few. You saw Blondie, the Ramones, Iggy Pop and tons more a The Continental, CB's, etc.

And what about now? What makes you think anything has changed? NYC is where they're carving out the new cutting edge punk/alternative rock scene. NYC is where the new up and coming action STILL IS!! What, you thought it moved to Pittsburgh? If you've been following the FUX shows in NYC you've seen them with a new breed, bands like Joker 5 Speed, the Bully's, The Kowalski's, The Sex Slaves, and tons more. They've been with the ones that made it, the classic NYC hardcore like Agnostic Front and Murphy's Law. And The FUX have even offered to take you there!

So if you want to be able to say "I saw them when..." take advantage of it now. Stop making excuses...get to NYC for the next show!!

November 2

Our latest home, The Sterling Hotel, places us with some old friends Murphy's Law this month, sadly yet another show we are doing without the illustrious JJ Cobain on rhythm guitar. The good news is that JJ finally gets out of house arrest this Thanksgiving, so look for him in December.

Meanwhile, he's staying busy running off new merchandise: T-shirts, etc. We'll wait until he's free to update the Merchandise site. He's also running the MySpace website for The Fux, see http://www.myspace.com/thefux

That's all for now.

Saturday Oct 22

I tried the Pedal Stores LUXURY DRIVE, which was a CLEAN BOOST only. Total pure boost, drives a tube amp into saturation for power tube sounding distortion. Then the POWER SCREAMER, a distortion/overdrive device with the added 10 dB boost switch to take you over the top, but now I have a review on the best of both worlds.

The GRISTLE KING was designed by Fender spokesman's Greg Koch's cronie, T.C.Jauernig  (don't ask me how to say it!) to preserve tone, yet be versatile from boost to broil. With tone descriptions like "gristle" (distortion level) and "gravy" (volume level) it's hard to forget I'm starving and it's time to play a gig, but what it serves up is better than food...

The Gristle King has all the afore mentioned options, diode switching, overdrive to distortion control, even a low end boost toggle switch, but what made me pick this pedal over all my others (Rat, Tube Screamer, Sparkle Drive, Boss MT2) you name it) was the boost option: it has a toggle switch to place the adjustable boost level BEFORE or AFTER the overdrive/distortion circuit.

Ever try adding a distortion or overdrive effect to an already distorted signal? You get compressed mush. With the boost added AFTER that signal, you get and an actual raised signal level...in other words, you step on the boost to punch in your lead, and you get LEAD! The big boosted signal comes through loud and obvious, distortion included. Totally effective, wow, awesome. Or, keep it before the distortion circuit for the compressed mush. Just make the distortion circuit not too dirty and you get sustain up the kazoo. Or, use no distortion circuit at all, just a step on the boost switch for clean gain (a la Luxury Drive).

This pedal is worth every penny of the Pedal Stores $200 price tag, because you get TWO pedals in one designed to work together with every possible combination option.  Sell your other pedals and get one good one. Wow.

By the way...I look inside these babies when I test them and the craftsmanship is outstanding! Heat shrink covered connections, nylon tied wires, total TLC goes into these little fucks. That's what you get from an actual HUMAN putting them together!

Saturday October 8

Wow I barely had yesterday's news out when The Pedal Store - thepedalstore.com- representative stopped over with tons of high-end expensive guitar pedals, effects, and gear for me to use and endorse. I tried out three overdrive stomp boxes, ranging from simple (one control knob only) to complex (knobs with toggle switches, etc.)

I'm keeping the middle one of the three for now, the Power Screamer. USA manufactured by Homebrew Electronics (HBE) it sports a level, gain, and tone control knob. In addition to those basics, it has a switchable diode (toggle switch) and an additional boost (stomp button) on top of that...that should take me totally over the top. Ask me about it if you see me, I'll be quick to tell you my opinion, but I was just trying it and loved it...of course, it's 1 AM and I'm trying not to wake the neighbors.

The Pedal Store offers high end merch: super-durable, hand wired, point-to-point, heavy-duty, high conductance stuff...all that kind of crap...at the price of the quick, mass produced, flimsy stuff.  Find out more from  The Pedal Store or http://www.thepedalstore.com
Tell 'em Roman sent ya

Friday October 7

Fucking Jeff Cobain is on house arrest, Roman's hanging around jazz trios and subbing out to old blues dinosaurs, and in between he's schwicking tickets to see not only CREAM in NYC but the STONES in Philly (BOX SEATS? You FUCK!!) Johnny Numbers and Timid meanwhile are hatching murder plots against him for their own various, but legitimate, personal reasons.

But NYC is calling, so...tell ya what. Sorry we couldn't do the Continental for you on Nov 17 Walter, call us back for some December "festivities"... we'll be hanging out  in the Lounge at CBGB's on Saturday Nov 19 when we perform there with some more bands... I hear anything goes down in that room...in NYC I can't even imagine what that might be, but YOU should be there and see.

If NYC is too far to walk holding your mommy's hand then take her to see The FUX and MURPHY'S LAW Saturday November 5 in Allentown, PA.

The Xmas trip may not happen at the Pussycat because no one acted fast enough. Ooops. So what. There's a chance we'll play New Years Eve in the city though, keep your cocks peeled. That means keep logging on to THEFUX.ORG!!! Haaarrr har!!!

Arf!!

October 1

Sorry about the October cancellation at Mothers. That was a wonderful scene, and, like most scenes too good to be true, they don't last. All I can tell you is never take an opportunity for granted, never wait for tomorrow, live for the day, and don't find excuses to NOT do something. That's easy. No one ever got anywhere by having reasons that something COULDN'T get done! No one got famous by saying we COULDN'T land on the moon! See the next show no matter what! No excuses!

The relatively successful hip-hop/rap/thug crazies THE BLOODHOUND GANG are some  friends of ours now, thanks to Jeff Cobain and his large circle of lunatic friends. They have a new release, they are touring it in Europe right now, but we are proud to be acknowledged on it in the list of "Thank You's"...or is it a "Fuck You's" list Jeff? I don't have the damn CD yet, but here's their link, tell them THE FUX sent ya! http://www.bloodhoundgang.com

Meanwhile, we are still trying to finalize and/or confirm a Christmas trip to NYC. It depends on the interest. We are willing to charter a bus as long as we have enough people willing to take Wednesday December 21 off, so we can be driven around Times Square in the afternoon, anywhere else, you know, the tourist thing if you like, plus do a FUX SHOW! We have another band, MARSHALL'S HIGHWAY, going in on the whole deal with us, so give us your thoughts. We were up there last year, and it was beautiful. If you've never seen Christmas in New York City, well, like I said above, don't miss the opportunity. We'll meet, get driven up and back, see a show, all for one price. No hassles. Let me know if this idea sucks or not.

Oh yeah...I do the website but lately my PC is wacky...if you get weird stuff or something doesn't work right, it's probably my fault, let me know.

Thanks Fuck-O's

Roman

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!
I am the Great Oz!!

I mean, FUX!!

September 21

Philly may have a chance in hell yet. The Barbary treats us OK anyway. The show there last weekend was good, but we need more of you out there...even though it's not as scenic as South St. The bottom line is we ain't on South St. and don't care if we are. We'll go where we're asked and appreciated. We're requested for repeat performances in NYC, England, and Germany...and in Philly, it's the Barbary...that's fine with us.

And we don't give a fuck if we sell CD's. Or if we "draw" so the club makes lots of money off of our friends to pay us 1/100th of it back as "pay" which doesn't amount to gas money. Left up to me, I'd drop a cover charge completely so it'd be easier to stop in and check out the action. More people would come in and have a beer, and a good show usually keeps them there (Mother's of Easton, PA's policy). Note to club owners: You get what you pay for. Like 10 bands that play for nothing usually gives you a night of what? Well, entertainment-wise, usually nothing. Buck up. Bring in a ringer, a show, some upstarts with a history like The FUX, while we're affordable. And promote it. Do you want your place to be the next big thing or not?

I don't make the policy. Fuck it. I'm an entertainer.  The FUX put on a full show, invite you to jump on stage and participate, and we all have a fucking blast. See your picture on our site the next day...get in our films and shit.

At least YOU get something for your cover charge.

September 1, 2005

Welcome back to school kids, you little FUX of the FUTURE. Hey, better you than me! I was kicked out every year since 7th grade...guaranteeing a grueling life of nothing but the hardest, hottest, most pathetic jobs for LIFE! No wonder I pursued a life as a drug addict, career criminal, and convicted felon.

Who gives two fucks? What do you get out of it? Well you get great FUX shows because I'm always pissed off. And you get the benefit of my experience, if your brain still functions, to know that music can save you or destroy you. Don't wait until a PO (Parole Officer) or CO (Correctional Officer) or HoMo (Your cellmate) leaves you no choice. I didn't have cool music playing options as a juvenile, you DO! You FUCK! Use it...stay in school and suck the living breath out of any music program you got.

The FUX shows are few for the fall, what the fuck, the newest guitarist JJ Cobain is ON PAROLE AS WE SPEAK!! Fucking dumb fuck! He's still learning his lesson, but meanwhile The FUX carry on, bringing you plenty of disdain, anger, porno and pyro in Philly, Easton, Allentown, and New York. One show per town. These are great venues, each one...we give you the FULL FUX SHOW. Fire, flesh, fucking FUN!  DON'T MISS THE SHOW IN YOUR TOWN.

MORE NEWS: We've added a PRINTABLE BIO.  That means we've set up a link in the BIO section to click on and get a printed copy of THE FUX BIO to use for presenting to your boss for booking The FUX.  How many times has this happened to you? You can't find a great twisted band to play at your church social...you need some experienced anarchists' to give a lecture and performance in your school auditorium...you're looking for an experienced band for the school dance to scare the shit of of the grown-ups...your office parties suck every year and now you're in charge of the Christmas party finally!! The FUX come complete with stunt men, film crews, and worse... if you want! BIO section...CLICK for PRINTABLE BIO...PRINT IT!!... FUCK!!

Ahhh you FUCKING FUX!! There's your fucking opportunities you fucking cunts. Don't blow ANY OF THEM!! Now goodbye,  I have to bury my MOM.

August 28

There are only a few shows shows coming up this fall...one in September, at The Barbary, and one in October, at Mothers in Easton. Cobain is in trouble with Johnny Law, Roman is traveling with other acts, Johnny Numbers is drinking on his sailboat, and Timid...well, he doesn't talk so nobody knows. But the shows are taking a second priority to writing, recording, and booking a foreign tour, so if you have a chance to see The FUX in your town you better take it. Who knows who will get lost, be incarcerated, or die next.

The Barbary had the FUX once and wanted them back immediately. Mothers On Saturday Nights is fast becoming a great new scene, so that is the place to be in the ABE area no matter WHO is playing. I'm TELLIN' YA!!!!

August 15

First...the pictures will be up soon...The FUX were busy non-stop so give me a day, check back, and look for your ugly mug under the appropriate date's venue and show.

And now, the sad news...the eggshell, humpty-dumpty brain of Jeff Cobain, illustrious cartoon-like cutey-pie sideman/rhythm guitarist for the FUX, has exploded. He went into a two-week rehab for them to put the pieces back together again. We wish him a speedy recovery and he will be back soon. Don't worry, you haven't seen the last of him.

Next...a great weekend of shows, despite Jeff's absence. The first was a new venue for original music  Mothers, in Easton, PA. I have to emphasize some things here...rarely do I see a REAL SCENE supporting a venue. If you're in a band you're all too familiar with this line:

"What's your draw like?" In other words, my joint has no regular action...you have to bring it, then maybe I'll give you some gas money back after you haul all your friends asses into my dive to spend hundreds of dollars...oh yeah, there's a cover charge too. Maybe you'll get a measly percentage of that instead.

That's not the case at Mothers. It's located in Easton's Circle, the center of town, surrounded by other types of clubs. Not only is there a fair walk-in crowd, just checking out the action (since there's no cover) but there's regulars who enjoy the place and go to see what original music is about.
The night to go is Saturday, when Shawn hosts original music. They are giving Shawn free reign on Saturdays for the next month, so even if you don't want to stay, go, stop in, have a drink, watch the free music, say Thanks! and move over to the next joint. You have an opportunity to help a scene grow at NO EXPENSE AT ALL! And it's not a clip joint, the beers are normal prices, there's promotional action, like Budweiser was sponsoring the FUX night and giving away stuff, no hassles. This was a nice night. I want to see more. Please support this place by simply stopping in for a drink on a Saturday night.

The following night was a Philly show. We like Philly, it's calm by NYC standards, and the night was good considering it was a Sunday night. Johnny Numbers, FUX drummer extraordinaire, calls this his hometown, so it was going home for him.
The show was great, no one was expecting a full FUX show, so we went over well...quite shocking I must say. The barmaid, Leslie, was great drinking company. Visit her and tell her the FUX sent ya. Plus, it poured outside, ending the horrendous heat spell. Of course, the cheesesteak options are phenomenal in this town, so a trip to South street afterwards was in order. Still, I had a slice instead at Lorenzo's, and we watched some great cat-fights between some hilarious screaming bitches in high-heels. I like this town!

We are taking a break now, to update the website, get Jeff back, write and record. Stay tuned though, gigs land in our lap magically, and we have a hard time saying no. See you at Mother's.

August 9

Well here we are 4 days in front of a Philly show that has had NO promotion on the part of the booking management so we want Philadelphia to know that there IS a show, and not only that, it IS BEING FILMED. The picture on the front page (titled Cigarette Light)  is a still from the video that we are currently working on. Wild fucking insanity plus outstanding music. Just an example of what you get to see at a full Fux show.

The video shooting is going GREAT and we are continuing to accumulate some footage in Philly and Easton. So be there early and be part of the background extras.

SATURDAY AUG 13-EASTON
In Easton the Mothers Saloon doors open at 9. Fux go on 2nd OF THREE BANDS

SUNDAY AUG 14-PHILADELPHIA
In Philly at The Barbary we go on in the middle, at 10:30, 2nd OF THREE BANDS, but we will be there loading in by 8 and hanging out and fucking off and filming...it'll be fun, so get in on it.

August 5

Oi you fucking fucks! Hey! Our cute lovable new little psuedo rhythm guitarist Jeff Cobain has put the FUX on MySpace.com.  Check out http://www.myspace.com/thefux. Cobain will be controlling this site, and he'll have a lot of time to learn it while on house arrest...anyway that's why you see a homebase address of Quakertown. Give him some props yo. Let him know you're out there.

We'll get MP3s up on it soon, and the site will slowly come together. Meanwhile this will still be the official FUX website, although feel free to start your own pages, sites, and other renegade FUX propoganda unofficial sites. The more we see the word FUX in the English language, the harder our cocks get.

OK, be sure to get to the Easton and Philly shows next weekend, we'll play those joints and probably never be allowed in them again! Har har! Don't say you missed it! Fucking LIVE LIFE!!!

August 2

Hi all you little fucking Fux! Welcome to the last month of summer:

STERLING HOTEL VIDEO
The video shoot at the Sterling Hotel went way better than imagined. We got great footage, had great fire, had great flesh. I'm telling ya, the Sterling Hotel is THE PLACE to see the FUX in the Allentown, PA area. The owner, Tom, has been enjoying our show as much as we have, so when we have another one...probably around the fall to celebrate Jeff Cobain's last days as a free man, well...DON'T MISS IT!!  We'll keep you posted as to the actual release of the video, meanwhile, fuck you if ya missed it! You can have a tease with the still shots in the Gallery, or, if I get a clip, I'll post it here on the site and let ya know.

SATURDAY AUGUST 13th
The best thing of course is to see the FUX for yourself. In August, you have two chances: In Easton a new place is trying out bands for the first time. MOTHER'S in Center Square Easton has a reputation for being preppy and full of fine ladies, but they're throwing caution to the wind on SATURDAY AUGUST 13th to be the first nightclub in the Easton area with the FUX show.

SUNDAY AUGUST 14th
Not to be outdone, Clearchannel's affiliate's at The BARBARY in Philadelphia want a FUX show the next night, SUNDAY AUGUST 14th. This is a new venue for the FUX in Philly, so as usual we'll take anyone down with us for free. Let's fucking do it!!  All ya hafta do is WANT TO GO. And let us know. Usually, at these new-venue-break-in shows, we have lots of free label merchandise to hand out. See the DATES section for details

LEARN FUXSPEAK
Last but not least...a new clip has been added to the AUDIO section of our sight...oh man, it's a riot. Listen and learn.

Monday July 18

It's been a great weekend with a FUX/Dickies show in NYC and Allentown, and there's some cool photos to be sure, but my picture program is getting a little bitchy so the photos may take another day or so. Give me a day or two yet to sleep, get my voice back, crop and edit,  paste and post, that crap there.

The latest news is confirmation on permission to do a FULL FUX SHOW for the video in Allentown, PA on Wednesday July 27. The label is giving out free stuff, we'll give out shirts to wear and keep for the shoot...fun all around. Bring matches.

Other bands will be there competing in a battle of the bands, so be sure to mention your there for The FUX to get your free stuff. The exact time of our one-set, gun-and-run (that's cameraman talk-thanks Brian) video shoot has yet to be specified, but the doors open at 7 pm.

Friday July 8:

The latest information on my desk is an offer to take people with us to the New York City Dickies show. If you want to go hit the CONTACT link and let me know. We'll haul your ass up there and bring it back, just in time to wake up and do it again with us the next day here in A-town, meanwhile you can see the coolest city in the world.

That's not all you fucking fux!! We're doing some rare ALL AGE shows in the Allentown/Bethlehem area before we head south, so get in on it. Grown-ups get lost! When we get back from the south, we're rolling into the A-town Sterling again to take over in a Warp Tour battle of the bands...we'll shoot a video, give out stuff, set ourselves on fire, and all kinds of extra fucking favors for anyone wearing the FUX stickers and shirts, etc.

So..the Globe on Saturday July 9, then the Dickies shown next weekend in NYC and Atown, dates down south, then video shoot at the Sterling at the end of the month!! Wow!! Then we'll be gone for a long time...next tour may be Germany and Commie Euro-stuff...so catch these USA shows. Fuckin' A!!!

JULY 4th  WEEKEND

Happy Holiday Weekend!

At this time of year I always remember bringing a band over from the UK to tour with us and then watching their jaws drop at all the keggers, fireworks, hot rods and bikinis they saw as we celebrated independence from Britain with our 4th of July.

It's true. They had seen this shit on the movies, and thought, well, that's the movies! But no, here we were, rolling down the highway, through Ohio I believe, and there were classic cars, Camaro's, GTO's, A-Bone hot rods with super-charged turbo air scoops thundering by (by coincidence, there was a car show in the nearby town.)

And everyone had a pool, with chicks in bikinis. (Again, by coincidence...there were a couple pool parties because it was a holiday weekend) Western whores! But Hey! There were the darlings with the cute British accent. Still, they didn't get laid!

They loved it. First thing they wanted when they arrived? Converse sneakers ("real" ones) and Taco Bell.

They resented us like crazy, and cried when they had to go back to their soggy tiny country!! Har har!!

JUNE INFO

Sat June 11

OK wow well Holy Fucking A! We're on our way to a show and our pretty white Fux van just stops!! Damn. Fortunately, we were near the show, and a bunch of cars came to rescue us. We got to the show.

And what a great show! A great burner set! Flames were nice, we got to re-light the burner a few times. Plus, and I regret this now, we REALLY turned on Frankenstein and Frank Jr, the legendary Fux Stratocasters. Poor fucking things...a brand new strat split in half! Fuck, it took me 5 years to get the original Frankenstein to crack all the way through! So now they're both on the operating table. But I'll get them back together again. Don't worry New York, you'll see Frank and Frank Jr. at the Dickies show.

But oh yeah! There's our fucking van still sitting there on the side of the road. Tim and Jess stepped up to the plate and waited for a tow while Johnny Numbers and I split to get to another gig we were already late for. Jeff stopped by to wait and help Tim, and , well I don't know what the hell was happening after we left, but I told Jess to snap some pictures for me and you all saw it! Bare-ass van pushing!

I can hardly wait for the NEXT SHOW!! See you there little fuk-fux!

Oh yeah...there's more dated for July!! Better write them down boys.

June 9

The Fux got added to the NYC Dickies show, thanks to the Continental, where we've shared odors with The Exploited, The Dwarves, others. WE do good there...and , well, with CB's going down the tubes, well, the Continental is just "the" new place to be.  It will be fun to be back there. New York Fucking City. But hey, we will be around, see us in your town, or request us and we'll book it. Maybe. Yo Brooklyn! Yeah that's right! See you soon fuckahs!

June 1st

Holy fuck summer started!! I better wake up!! Watch the site you little fucks for the Fux show near you. There are very limited shows this season while we gear up for the next foreign tour and write new material. Meanwhile, stateside, full frontal FUX appearances include NYC, Richmond, Baltimore, Norfolk, ohh and Allentown and Tamaqua! Wow! Can't forget them...that's where we buy our hoagies.

Many of the dates are still coming in...we didn't even open the August books yet..so keep watching the site. Usually when there's a new picture on the front page there's something new somewhere else...hey Fuck Yeah!

MAY INFO

Friday May 20

Just confirmed! The infamous DICKIES will be in Allentown, Pa on July 16, at the Sterling Hotel, and The FUX will be there warming the place up for you!. The Sterling Hotel

Thursday May12

Fat Lou from the PREPS said they got a regular fucking Woodfuck going on in Tamaqua, PA for June 11 called FAT FEST. Great bands  from all over. He says there's food, merchant stands...and more merchant stands are welcome, just contact them....lots of stuff to do, skate pipes so bring your board...yeah fuck man, all ages, all action. I'm looking up the website for info now...ok here, from FOOLRECORDS.NET...

FAT FEST 6

what, this is the SIXTH one!? Where the fuck have I been? Fat Lou says they get bigger every year and now it's almost a pro event, so go before it's corporate bullshit. It will run all day, like 12 noon to 9 PM, all daylight and lots of bands. Go to that site and mark it, I'm told it is going to get updated as the details pour in.

Oh yeah, did you get the new CD yet? The one everyone is talking about? The one that if they don't get it they get pissed off? Fuck, that's all of them!...Go to MERCH LINK now! Go order it now or ask your local record store to wake up and get the fucking FUX already ! (Then order it online anyway!)

Also, I'm trying to get the links straight for a new German Radio stream featuring lots of  Punk rock Duetchland style...http://www.punkrockers-radio.de/ I hope these links work eventually...

Friday May 6

A good week so far, reviews from I'm On TV keep coming in, good for the most part. Lamest one is from Allentown PA as per usual, NYC and other big 'zines diggin' it though. And, NEW MATERIAL is on the way!

Before we get all the reviews in we'll already have new material ready for the summer shows. The new FUX line-up delivers even more punk rock power and originality thanks to the added singer/songwriter guitarist and drummer team of Johnny Numbers and Jeff Cobain. How can we go wrong? With all the new variables, there's bound to be some MELODIC CONTENT and MUSICALITY in there somewhere...you fucking dork pop punk cunt toy reviewer in Allentown. God damn...It's been so long... yet...some things never change. Don't worry Mr. Melodic, you won't like this shit either!

Sunday May 1

Website viewers count from April 13 to May 1 is 570

OK, OK, I know it's not working quite right, I'm still trying to get the MP3's loaded properly. At least the side navigation bar will save you some time in the Gallery.

The FUX are holed up right now nursing some injuries, licking some wounds and putting together new material and the summer schedule. Stay tuned and we'll back with the updates. We'll be drifting in and out of the NYC area

Sunday April 17

Man alive!! What a show in Allentown! All the bands played great, and at the Sterling hotel, LOOKED great and SOUNDED great! This is going to be a nice venue for original acts.

The show opened with CHILDHOOD, some former students of mine that formed a band as soon as they knew what they were doing. They brought a great all age crowd and set the mood nicely.

Next was  AWW JAMES. They were great Rock N Roll, real hard...the way it should be. Friends of...

Phoebus Apollo...incredible musicianship... extreme like Primus, but better, because it's actually listenable!!

4th up, the insane SASQUATCH & THE SICK-A-BILLYS. If you missed them, you missed a great show of punk-a-billy that you won't see in this town again soon. Hailing from Boston, they're well known along the northeast and were coming from Norfolk on tour. Just incredible to see.

The Slamhounds followed 5th with their sarcastic humor and bombarding punk rock originals. What loveable lunatics...and to think that they are really intelligent engineers in the national electronics industry by day...

6th up, the FUX! With a FULL SHOW!! The very thing that banned us from the Sterling at an awards ceremony back in 2002! Well we're back!!

7th FURY FIGHT. These locals brought a great crowd and the floor was shaking! They looked great and sounded great. If the Fux do another local show, it'll be with them

Last, but not least, LEIANA. This featured a beautiful chick and a Bad Brains drummer, doing great alternative style stuff. Alas, the crowd was totally wiped out by this time of the night, the children had gone home, and the bar crowd was tired and drunk, so there reception was less than they deserved. But that didn't stop them from performing like there was crowd of 1,000...and with a BROKEN FOOT!!

The Sterling was pleased and excited. They were impressed that we ran EIGHT bands on an organized and timely schedule, and have agreed to do it again anytime we ask. They also have a nice outdoor patio, so watch for something this summer or fall. If we do this place again, don't miss it Allentown!

 Tuesday Night April 13

I got my taxes mailed out and sat down with a new sponsor who is exchanging these web designing tactics and techniques with me in exchange for guitar lessons. Boy, you can sit at this and tweak shit for .... I've been sitting and working on this for fucking hours. I can feel my ass getting wider as I type, like a fucking faceless you're-just-a-number office cubicle worker drone...I'm sure there's mistakes, hey fuck, just let me know. I'm a guitar player, not a "web master".  And I don't want to do anymore or get my ass any wider.

Meanwhile, Fux rhythm guitarist Jeff Cobain is back from the Bahamas and ready to rock the seedy little hometown of the Fux for their much anticipated all age show at the Sterling Hotel. What a show it's turning out to be. We booked some good acts, but then the notorious Boston based Sick A Billys insisted on playing too...then Treece from Bad Brains says "I got this girl, we want to play with you guys..."...we had to keep adding acts because they kept getting better. And we  got free stuff, all kinds label goodies, the new merch came in ( I better get to the post office) damn... Sure hope you can find an excuse to see this show, ya won't get another chance like it.

OK, tell me how much the site sucks now in an email. Later fuck-toys,

Sir Roman de Fuck-A-Lot III

Update  Mon April 5

I hate "LINKS"!!! Every time someone new tried doing this fucking FUX website, the question came up: " Well, you want a links page don't you?"

No! Fuck no! What the fuck! I don't get it. Why? What can you possibly put up that someone can't get with a simple "search"? More important, how can I possibly link everything I think is important? And without excluding someone else and pissing them off? And who the fuck am I anyway? Who gives a flying fuck about what label I think is cool? Barf!! What band I think is "awesome!!!"  Who cares what local radio station in Tinytown may have our CD as a coffee coaster? Why clutter up someone's already feeble vacant brain with MY opinions on what the fuck is THE LINK YOU NEED TO HAVE!?

But I do like taking and posting pictures...because we have been with such great acts. Some are big... on tour, on labels, etc. Some classic, and famous and shit. Some are just fucking insane! They will burn out and/or die before you get to see a label squeeze them. Others were flukes...a creative gang together for just a short while or just one show. A bunch of hot chicks trying to look sexy.  Kids kicking ass. Some acts so totally over the top, it literally took us lighting our shit on fire to compete. We came across GREAT fucking acts...AND, they were GREAT fucking people.

I have been posting their pictures in the GALLERY section... I had to post their link I GUESS SOMEHOW SOMEWHERE... I had to do it.  I had to break down and design a page just to put them all in. You will never see some of these bands outside of their foreign countries, like England, or Germany, or New York City! Fuck, there are so many though, I know I'm missing some, so if you are one of them, just contact me and send the link. I'm sorry, I never wanted to do this...I just feel I owe it to so many of you.

I didn't even do the CLUBS that had enough guts to book us. "The FUX"!!  That takes balls. My fucking hat is off to them too. Maybe I'll get to that next time. For now, there's a page of links to acts that I guarantee have the right stuff...attitude, presence, for sure a fucking sense of humor! And BALLS!

The link is in the header and footer but here I'll make it easy for you: LINKS

Roman, editor-in-chief

PS Don't forget, see some of these insane acts yourself at our Allentown show Saturday April 16th!!

Update (finally!) March 25

Happy Easter and shit like that. While you're worried about chocolate bunnies or your sins that will never be forgiven the Fux are putting together an all age show for Allentown, PA. It will be cheap, be in a big club, be all ages, have food, merchandise, and even free stuff. There will be bands from the tri-state area and some members from like, famous bands and shit I think. Allentown's Sterling Hotel, Saturday April 16. Fuck yeah.

It all follows some great times we've had recently...a tour of New England, some great shows in the city and Brooklyn, and shit. Fuck, so much I could barely get all the pictures up and have time to write a smart ass caption for them much less get the correct info and links right. Thanks though, tor all the great people and bands we met and played with and annoyed with a camera and our email sign-up sheet.

We're happy to get photos of y'all and post them and spread the news of whatever the fuck you're about, if you see yourself up in our gallery and want to add info or delete anything, let me know.

If you are NOT up on our gallery yet, go to CBGB's this Saturday April 2 and get your photo taken at the most famous shithole in the world before it's history. Fuck man! Be part of the history!! Later fuck-alls.

Update: Friday Feb 11

Hi kids!!

Did you buy your new Fux CD yet? WHAAAT?!! What are you waiting for?!  What' ya... GAY?  Be the first on the block to blast "FUCK YOU, FUCK ME!!" out the window! Go against the grain and drop that Sum 182421 Blink sum' bitch 80-fuckin'-2 crap now and start showing your annoyed neighbors what reality is all about!

We hit the road for NYC to Boston this month. Fuck the south. We go there when we're more ready to fight. For now, we're still fat and lazy from the winter. We  gotta hit the road to slim down. Eat shitty, sleep less and work hard wrecking all our gear and stuff.

And what better encouragement to hit the road than travel expenses, paid hotel rooms (with pool table), and a beer tasting tour, all courtesy of Valiant Death Records and Sam Adams Brewery!! Fuckin-A right, and they said they'd give us a tour of their Boston brewery at noon.  What!? Wake up at...NOON?!? Beer for breakfast!?! Oh... yeah....of course!

Now what else do you have to say? Nothing? Homo! Infidel! Weakling!! Awwww.... I'm sorry....what's a matter? Did I hurt your feelings? World got you down? Closing in on you?  Now fight back! Go to the message board and tell the Fux all about it!!  DO IT! DO IT NOW!!! C'MON, KILL ME!!

Thursday Feb 3

Hey you guys!! Well the CD is out! Get it now thru the site for $7 or see us at a show and pay $10. We are in the process of establishing more merchandise and the back catalogue if you want other FUX stuff even cheaper! Click on order here, haggle with Bucky, our label president, and make him give a discount for pre-ordering.

The FUX are visiting  various major cities in the Eastern US on a monthly basis. We just hit Philly and NYC, and this month will be heading into the Boston area.

First, the NJ area this Saturday. Keep checking to find out what the hell we're doing! Because....

"I...don't ...know!"

track #3 from "I'm On TV"

Saturday Jan 22 The Big Snow!

The big northeast snow is hitting us here in the NYC-Phila. area hard so it gave me time to pick up.....the NEW FUX CD's!!!! I got such a hard-on listening to it I had to set up a MERCH link for you all to get them. And you'll get them really fucking cheap through our label. In the stores, CD's are what $12, $15, $20? $200 fucking dollars? I don't fucking know! At our shows it will be $10, but direct from the label is what? $7 fucking dollars or some shit....you can buy some other stuff too....and I promise we'll have some more cool stuff available soon: past CD's, official Fux matches for burning your own guitars, Fux bondage rope for...you know...getting the job done! Fuck!

Update: Sunday Jan 16

New York, Allentown, Philly!!!

First thank you, we had a great time in Chinatown at the 169 Bar. Pauline's  Rumor Entertainment is really starting to get some fun acts alongside of us, just look at the  Music For Girls pix on the Shows Pix Gallery. "Rumor" has it that we have another great line-up of similar grrrl rockers in NYC on a return trip tour of the Northeast in February...stay tuned for the February schedule! more!

The BIG NEWS for this week is a great time Thursday January 20 in Brooklyn ! We'll be swingin' wild at the Trash Bar and loving every fucking minute of it. There's directions and everything on their site: The Trash Bar

If you ain't a New York regular (sob), then see The FUX  fresh outta' Brooklyn with fellow barroom cronies the notorious SLAMHOUNDS, drinkers extraordinaire, in their hometown of Catasauqua, PA, Friday Jan 21, at the Arch St Hotel.

Philly, we didn't forget you. We will be down there to remind you that we are as dangerous, lewd, and entertaining as you remember when we roll into Doc Watsons, Friday January 28. That's Friday Jan 28 in Phila. PA!!  Doc Watsons

Thank you !!

Tuesday January 11

The FUX were successfully received back to an old home town haunt last Friday when they played the Arch St Hotel in Catasauqua, PA. This is a small town with a huge punk rock scene. I've never scene better support in that area for punk rock. "Catty" has a pedigree punk rock reputation going all the way back to the beginning of punk in '77, when they were booking all the known acts (mostly "unknown" then) thru John Loftus' The CLAP, from 999 to Suicidal Tendencies.

The Arch St. Hotel revived that scene to a degree several years ago, but the cops had their way and squashed it. They persevered and got it rolling again, with a Pork Dukes reunion a month ago and now steady Friday shows. Yes!!

There will be another FUX show there this month, the result of a cancellation at a previous local venue. John Loftus will present The FUX, The SLAMMHOUNDS, and a Philly act TBA

It's a pleasure to be back there with some of the original friends who helped launch the FUX. We look forward to more great acts at Arch St.

Saturday January 1, 2005

2004 had some surprises, good and bad. The Fux broke into NYC, the band line-up and website  changed, and MTV played even LESS music! But it's a New Year with some New Fux. We're back in NYC and are even playing some Allentown, PA shows with the old gang here and there. It won't be often, so catch the shows when you can.

Fux plans for 2005 include:

1)  The "I'm On TV" full length release on Valiant Death Records

2)  The "I'm On TV" video...Chief?

3)  More new material and a new release with the new Fux

4)  Another overseas tour, don't know where we want to eat and drink yet...Germany? Japan? I like Italian...

5)  Bother our label and the NYC record executives to pay for all of this!

Meanwhile, but the sun keeps shining, world keeps turning, and the Fux keep fucking,  and guitars keep burning...so

Happy Fucking New Fucking Year

ya Fuck !!

Thursday December 23

The Fux thank everybody, even the people who hate us, for a wonderful year this 2004 and wish you all a

Merry fucking FuXmas and a Happy Fucking New Fucking Year

Fuck !!

Wednesday December 15

Happy holidays, this week the big show is in NYC, at the Continental. GO! Last week you missed lots of fun with girls and punk rock and fire and flesh awhhh all kinds of good fun, Jeepers! The NY radio show...KKK club, Sterling shit, fuck, don't miss the fun this week!

OK, so Saturday, December 18 go to NYC, the Continental, for the 9 PM Fux kick-off to the Exploited show.

Monday Dec 20 Roman and Johnny hang out at the Meadows, in Hellertown.  Hey, it's Christmas, and it's a party. Not a Fux show per se (wow, is that like, fucking French? or Latin?) HEY! It's a jam for just drinking and fun. It starts at 6 PM with a $3 FOOD BUFFET for all.  Roman leads you through jams of jazz, rock, blues, and punk if Jeff shows up! Hey Jeff, there were some of your boys looking for you there last Monday... make it this time. Hey!

Fuck, I'm late for my job....I'll update more after you all tell me what to write! Yikes! Look at the time! hey, check out the new Pix in the Galleries!! Later Fuck-Alls!!!

Sunday December 12

We have a show today in Perkasie, at the Keelersville Club. Popularly known to the area locals as the "KKK" club. I guess it leans a tad towards the "redneck" view....

Monday is the Meadows Jam for us locals in the Allentown area. This is not a FUX show, just fun with food and guitars and music and shit...everyone welcome to play and eat for next to nothing.

The BIG news is The Exploited show in NYC this Saturday, Dec 18.

We're not taking a big bus, it's going to be a sold out show. If you want to go get your ticket by calling the Continental and say HEY! I'M WITH THE FUX!! HAVE A GOD DAMN TICKET THERE FOR ME YOU FUCKS!! Or contact Roman and ask him to do that for you. He'll even find you a ride.

Holy fuck I'm fucking beat! Yo you guys I only had like three hours sleep since getting home...that was a long night there on Long Island. There's a new joint there for you fucking NY punk rockers, The Last Call, right there in center city Farmingdale. X Form World Wide Internet Radio sponsors a Wednesday Punk Night and who better to bust it wide open than out-of-town-turned-New-York-regulars The FUX. Fun, flesh, and fire set the new standard. Thanks to Will, the owner, his girl there with the uh...extra support, and Scotty and AllFred of XForm Radio. The rest of you cunts should not miss any show you get a chance to see, because...well, you never know..anything can happen!!

The Lehigh Valley once again had to admit: Those fucking FUX are for real and won't go away. For the third year in a row the Fux took the local award for Best Punk Band among other categories. Yes folks, with each year we get more respect. It seems to be directly proportional to disgust, but, it's a higher profile none the less.

It really was a good time, we snapped a few photos of the fun and our friends, and they're all there in the LVMA Gallery.  The newest Fux were there representin'  and it became painfully obvious that they will be a force to be reckoned with. I want to thank you behind the scenes for organizing such a fun thing. It gets better and better every year, and we hope to be an annoying part of it each time. Thanks AJ for the extra time put into the Award design this year.

Thanks to all our friends, all the support, and we all wish you a great Holiday. We want to see you and thank you. In PA, it looks like you will have 2-3 options before Xmas. Check the DATES. In NY, we hope to see you Wednesday in Long Island and next Saturday in the city with The Exploited. Details on that shit below:

Wednesday December 1st

Long Island show & radio interview

Venue: Last Call  Farmingdale (Corner of Main & Conklin)This is a cozy little joint that AllFred and Scotty from Xforms Studio set up for us to play, drink, and hang in while we do an interview with them. They saw us in Manhattan and wanted us on their island!

Radio: X Form World Wide Internet Radio Go to www.xformstudios.com and listen to the latest coming out of New York. You're hooked up bro!  Scotty and AllFred run a show on Monday nights at 11, but we've listened to quite a few cool shows on it. Check it out and bookmark it to be able to boast of the newest and lewdest coming out of NYC.

Music Awards at the Meadows this year-Monday December 6 - The Fux swept a bunch of awards last year, performed their fire show and were banned from the venue two years before, and were paid in hard liquor to NOT perform two years before that...so...I guess anything can happen.

Fux return by request to Allentown's Sterling Hotel - Ha, the very place we were banned from! We promised to not burn and destroy anything so they were glad to let us in again. Stunt Wags did crazy shit at the last show we did there, fucking crazy flips....so...I guess anything can happen.

Roman and Johnny Numbers run some Monday night jams in December - Fux run a bar and a jam?...well...I guess anything can happen! Don't miss it, great deal on food: $3 all you can eat buffet for participants, $6 general public, bring your instument and sit in for jazz, blues, or rock, it's your call. Entrance is free, so support our little thing here folks, stop by, eat, play, or just watch and network

Cool NYC show-The Exploited & Fux  12/18/04 at the Continental - One of the most notorious and headline making bands in punk rock history. The Fux and The Exploited...you may not get too many more chances to see this shit.

Guitar Gallery updated with details - Oh, this is a little pet peeve of mine...my guitar inventory...it's not your average run-of-the-mill weapons, that's for sure. You can click on the photos for a detailed photo and story on the piece. For guitar nerds only.

Saturday November 27

Hey, I'm connecting links between the Showbills & Posters pages and the Guitar Gallery...that means you can click on the pix for an enlargement, then click on it again to go back. The guitar Gallery has some info and details. That's all. Try it.

Tuesday November 23

What a great time in NYC, we played in Chinatown and stayed with Johnny Number's buddies, a bunch of  Russians in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn. They fed us and even offered each of us our own pair of slippers when we arrived at 4 AM. The next day it was off to the Trash Bar in Brooklyn, where we played a Sex Slaves birthday party. The Sex Slaves, having just completed a tour of Japan, had us with 3 other Japanese acts..."I'm T. N. T...I'm a power ROAD, I'm T.N.T....watch me ESHPRODE!"...then it was back to wrong turns, unnecessary scenic views from the Verrazano Bridge at 3 AM trying to figure out our way home to Coney Island... like the Warriors.....but...no...sleep...TILL BROOKLYN!! The next day, Chinatown again...where is America? All the shows were fun, two out of three let us burn up a guitar, so we're getting extra special treatment. What a town! Oh, and we all received a box of Russian chocolates for the trip home. Thanks to Rusland, and Vladimir. (Spelling correct boys?)

More shows coming: Allentown Pa on Friday December 10...don't miss it A-town.

Jeff Cobain has asked us to do a benefit in the Perkasie area, more finalizing needs to be done, details to follow...

NYC gets more pro Fux action when we warm up the vicious man eating carnivore crowd for the EXPLOITED, Saturday December 18. Tickets in advance only probably. Pay now, shut up later.

Hey, wow, is that Johnny Numbers mixing your drink at the jam? Excellent! That's right, Johnny and Roman run with fun at the Meadows All Star Jam on Mondays, December 13th and 20th. We'll have rock, punk, jazz, what the fuck, you name it, Roman and Johnny will make it happen. Awesome. And you can eat real super cheap, holy fuck, $3 for a buffet! Chow down and jam you fux!

Wednesday  November 10

Well the biggest news is the website is getting more links, more pictures added, more galleries. You can send me some pix from shows if ya got 'em, and I'll get them up there. We're still advancing with the new line-up and it's going over great at the venues we play. We're in NYC next week for a three day tour...so we'll probably live there for a bit.

The Sterling Hotel called us and thanked the Fux for performing a great show on Friday Nov 5, and not burning anything or destroying anything that wasn't Fux property. They will have us back in December with a similar lineup of Slammhounds and catty contingency, when we'll have the details together for a bus trip to see Xmas in NYC, the Big Rockefellar Center Christmas Tree, all followed by a great punk show at the Continental with The Exploited.

So catch us in Allentown if ya get the chance, New York got us on a regular basis, and stay in touch for more fun and constant changes!

Fuck ya later!

Sunday Nov 7

wow, a great show Saturday nite at the Sterling. It looks like the Fux redeemed themselves by performing a good headlining show with their new band and old friends the Slamhounds. After the show the Fux hung around with Dennis and Moke and discussed a possible show in December with a similar line up. Well, I have to get to the Wagonwheel show, I'll keep y'all abreast of the newest happenings when I return to this site next week. Later kids. VOTE NOW QUICK.Lehigh Valley Music Awards

" I DON'T KNOW" ......The current political climate, the foundation of essential Fux compositions, and the Lehigh Valley Music Awards status. Ahhh, the LVMA's! These represent the 6th year for them, and it's a coveted part of Fux history...from the very first one, where the Fux were paid in hard liquor to NOT perform,  the third one where we actually won an award but performed the full-on fire show and were banned from the venue that very same night, and the historical  4th award ceremony when the Fux swept the awards for all kinds of absurd categories! Well this year is a bit more practical, please log on:

vote FUX in catagories #1, #19, and #44.

Again, we remind you we're in the LV area this weekend, ironically at the very place we were banned from! As if that isn't American Opportunity enough, we play for the Mary Hawkins Blues Benefit, a very special tiny, tiny set at 4:30 on Sunday afternoon. Hope you can witness it, it may create more history in the Fux Chronicles, you never know!! Hey, it wouldn't be the first time!!

Sunday November 1

Well Howdy everybody. Good Morning and welcome to FUX news at our new ".ORG" location. Thanks for stopping by.

The FUX are enjoying their new home in NYC but a few Lehigh Valley gigs that fell in our laps are just too tempting to say no to. One is Allentown's  Sterling Hotel, which freaked out and banned us but good when we did the fire show for the 2002 Music awards (See the clips on the AUDIO link above). It's an honor to be back there after two years of well deserved and hard earned exile.

The second LV area show is in Quakertown, at The Wagon Wheel, a nice country bumpkin kind of joint, where we will try to raise the atmosphere of a blues band marathon up a notch or two...or 10. I mean 11!! Black Blues Diva Mary Hawkins asked The FUX to perform, and when Mary asks, you don't refuse!

The FUX will prepare for their homecoming with a Thurs nite Nov 4 show at Otto's Shrunken Head in Manhattan. We'll get our mojo and voodoo together for the Sterling the next nite Fri Nov 5. We should know how to play "The Thrill Is Gone" for Mary by her Sunday Nov 7 show, then take a break.... but we'll be busting up Brooklyn (yo) on Thurs Nov 18.

That shit about the Exploited is fact, we'll be on that Helluva Christmas Show at the Continental, wow, what the fuck!

Tuesday October 26

Just a quick HELLO to the Fux loyalists. Thanks for logging on to the new site, and stay tuned. Things changed in the Fux camp, they do occasionally, and usually things get better right along with it. You can stay updated now thru this site, and it will develop into more detail, possibly some of the old links, but always the newest fucking Fux news to know.

The Quakertown Secret Beer & Bullets party at the target range was outasite, all the bands were good, and we got good marks from the owners for organization, clean-up, and overall cooperation. We can do more shows there. Sorry we couldn't divulge more details, but it looks like Cobain and I may join to keep our marksmanship fine tuned, in which case we will have a nice home for private parties in the spring.

Mark this site and contact us,

Thank You.

I mean, Fuck You!

Friday October 15

The FUX hit NYC in style for an all age show, with the DWARVES and shit. 7 PM show time! Sunday October 17. You knew that!

The little secret bash for Quakertown October 23rd is off. Tough darts Pennsylvania. See the item about Mary Hawkins below though!

The FUX make their regular appearance at 13 Little Devils in Manhattan on Wednesday, October 27. There's some sex going on in there somewhere...we just can't ever find it.

They also hit a notorious NYC Tikki Bar, Otto's Shrunken Head, Thursday November 4th. Fun fun fun for you grass skirt wearing fux. Time for some Fux Voodoo action.

Blues prima donna and vocalist extraordinaire "Screamin' Mary Hawkins" runs a fund-raiser in Quakertown, PA Sunday November 7th and wants the FUX there to "shake up all those ol' blues acts." Talk about throwing a wrench in the gears...

And the Sex Slaves of  Brooklyn say "...You FUX!! Come on over..." They do show at the Trash Bar Thursday November 18. They will just be getting back from a tour of Japan.

Thurs Oct 7

More Fux = more fun:  Meet Jeff Cobain from Seattle, unappreciated cousin of Kurt Cobain and new FUX rhythm guitarist. "We were a team, man, me and that cunt. We wrote all that shit together. Kurt used all my songs and stuff, and then before he could pass off any of the royalties to me he married a whore and blew out his brains. What a gyp. So I moved here where it doesn't rain 363 days a year to join the FUX."

Tuesday Oct 5

Who's that man? Find out Sunday October 17 at the Continental Show. As of now, it looks like a bunch of us are taking individual cars, so there should be opportunity for some car pooling and riding along. We are looking for drivers, and better still, a passenger van. This may still happen, we may have a van for hauling everyone's asses again, but it's not for sure yet. Still, so what? Drive to NYC, follow us. It's 2 hours tops. It's a nice way to spend Sunday afternoon. We'll meet in the parking lot, everyone gets a good easy to read map, go see Times Square and a Fux show. Don't forget to look at the Statue of Liberty on your way into the city

Friday Sept 24

Well there's some changes going on in Fuxville but the ball keeps rolling. The Continental is having us back Sunday October 17 for an insane line-up with the Dwarves and the Candysnatchers, and it's all ages. Show is at 7 PM, an early one...well, it IS a school night!

"You can bring your daughters, of any ages, but have them watch their backs...after all, it is a DWARVES show..."                                                                                                       -Walter from bookings, The Continental

Mon Sept 13

The Continental show...

...  had great bands plus special guests from the New York Dolls, The Bullys original line-up, and the Dead Boys all paying tribute to the NYFD Bullys guitarist Johnny Heff. It was a packed show with lots of action and the Fux were proud to be in such good company on such an honorable occasion. Once again, big thanks from the Fux to Big happy Hector for driving all us yahoos, Timid for financing the trip, and all the gang who showed up for the ride like they actually said they would! Got home at 5 AM!!

Cannibal Cow nurse Continental hangover...

...at a blues jam? Yes, the infamous Digger and "Pigs 'R Us" showed Roman and his spikey haired comrades Cannibal Cow how to relax after a dusk-till-dawn night in the Big Apple...go to a country cookout and eat, drink, and jam until dark. Matt-Shoo sits in on drums and gets the blues going to 200 beats per minute. The Batman movie we woke up to was almost as good as the coffee and doughnuts though

What's this "two song set" shit?!?

...to a tiny crowd the following sleepy Sunday night the Fux  give the best show of the weekend with an intro, the song "Motherfucker Son", and then slash, crash, and burn their gear with "What Have I done"...a 10 minute fiery set that left more to talk about than 4 other bands on the bill were able to do...but thanks to Asylum 66 for setting it up, and extra thanks go to STEM, the kids who played first and stayed to support live music!!! And all the other bullshit from that night isn't worth printing!

There will be MORE!

... the FUX are getting asked for more shows in the city, (New York, what else does "city" mean?) with some press wanting to see the "Burner" in action...stay tuned, turn out, and turn on!

Wed Sept 8

The holidays are over...NO!  The time draws near and the Fux get ready to include you in all the insanity. A good weekend for those who cling tight: first the Friday Sept 10 NYC Continental show,  you no drive! Come home in the wee Saturday morning hours but stay over Romans and follow him Saturday Sept 11 to Diggers annual smoked-meat and cold beer fest for lunch to cure your hangover, complete with a stage for blues jamming and shit like that....then still you no go home, Fux play Connections, NJ on Sunday Sept 12. You go back to work Monday, until then, you do the anarchy thing proper! Oi!

More news: the 4 song promotional demo that Roman promised radio stations from here to Bulgaria (literally) are sitting in his gym bag. Want one? Are you a radio station? Want to start a street team and get more free stuff? Contact him.

And apologies to Cannibal Cow, some tru punk north Philly boys who bowed out gracefully when the Fux opened and shut down their gig by lighting a burner (at their request of course). Their response? "Come over to our place for a beer."  We'll make it up to you this Friday on the way to the City Cow Boys

Sept 1

Friday September 10 NYC Trip

The NYC Continental show has a bit of a story to it, and we're proud to be part of it this year. The booking agent for the Continental, Walter,  is in the well known NYC band The Bullys and their original guitarist, John "Heff", was a NYFD casualty of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Towers. The fact that this Continental show is the night of September 10/11 is no coincidence. It's a well planned and traditional night that was booked long ago.

The FUX were asked to be part of it at the last minute based on the fact that we are "traditional punk' AND as a result of the good reports of our debut there last month, which is where we have YOU to thank. The trip with the 18 passenger van worked out well and was fun and we'll do it again.

We were lucky enough to have Walter bump around some scheduling to fit us in, and he managed to get us in the line-up as a second act to go on at 10:00 PM sharp, so let's meet in the Allentown Redner's at Airport Rd. & Rt. 22 at 6 PM again and have your little liquer bottled from the Spirits Shop nearby in your purses by then girls!

It's not even a "school night" so NO EXCUSES! Get your seat saved now for this new FUX tradition. Hope to see you in the seat behind me.

Thanks kids-Roman, Timid, and the illustriously animated Beeeeeeeeaaaaaaaar Claaaaaawwwwwww!

August 31

Wow, what a weekend. The FUX show with Cannibal Cow was great...until fire alarms went off, club bouncers started bouncing, and women and children started screaming in a fiery panic. Well, there were no children. Nice women though. Anyway, a great show,  except Cannibal Cow was not allowed to play. So the FUX, the guests and opening act for CC, were the closing act too. We're sorry Cow Boys, but we'll make it up to you. Check out their site's link, see the still pix, filmed footage, and tell them Thanks! Go to the front page for their personal review of the night, and their SHOWS link for the pix: www.canibalcow.com/

Other news is NYC is still a big fat fucking GO! Friday September 10, the infamous Continental in Manhattan. Don't miss it, this will be a wonderful way to start your September weekend. Contact any of the boys thru the CONTACT link or call Roman at 610 306-9204. Don't delay, do it today!

Last but not least, we keep breaking guitars, cutting ourselves bloody, and busting drum hardware. We're looking for cymbal stands and any other drum hardware you have. Your crap is our show, so now's a chance to get a couple $$ for stuff any other music store would laugh at you for trying to trade in. Again, contact Roman, it's that simple.

August 25

September in NYC is confirmed with The FUX getting in on a great line-up Friday September 10 at the Continental with some of the hottest punk acts in NYC today. See them now before they're signed, successful, or dead. We'll take you. Get on our free multi-passenger van deal, you can't beat it, it's fucking FREE. You regretted it last time, don't miss it this time. And on a Friday too! Not even a school night!

We'll follow that hangover with a show at Connections, in Clifton, NJ on Sunday afternoon. Then we'll see y'all in the City again for a show at 13 Little Devils in Manhattan Wednesday Sept 22.

More shows  are bound to follow, so, if we feel like doing them we'll let you know!

HEY KIDS!! Don't forget- there's the great ALLLL AAAAAGES Show in Phillipsburg, NJ, Saturday August 28 which is turning into a HUGE event to celebrate  everyone going back to school. It's up to 8 bands now, in a fast-paced, one-up, one-down line-up to get all these different acts in between 7 PM and ? whenever. And it's only $6 !!!  Many new up and coming bands perform their debut. More established bands have longer sets. It'll be like a NASCAR race with bands switching faster than pro pit-stops. Don't miss it. It's your next book report probably.

New York Scene - The Continental

"

The Continental show trip with the rental van worked out well, we hauled about a dozen people, including a bunch of Ellie Mae's cute girlriends, and took the floor at the Manhattan venue The Continental -  famous for having such acts as the Ramones,  Iggy Pop, Blondie, and many more NYC icons turned "big".

It went well enough that te FUX are willing to do it again. The booking agent at the Continental is working on squeezing us in on a very special punk show on Sept 10, a Friday night. If we get the green light on this, it will be pretty important to have you with us. For Fri and Sat nights they only book bands that have proven crowds of 20-30, but the booking agent likes us, he wants us in on this particular tribute night to NYC's Traditional Punk  scene, even though to do it he's taking the night's line-up which is already booked, cutting everyone's set, and putting us in the beginning.

This is a long shot for the Fux, but a great opportunity if it happens. If we can play on that bill, we're on our way down the path of some of our heroes, the misfits who made enough of an impression to get on major labels. You can help it happen.

Again, we will get the means to get you there and back, You can drink and fuck yourself silly all the way there and home. It will be a Friday night and we can get home at a reasonable time because we're first or close to it on the bill. But, you have to pull through. You have to commit. You can't say "Oh yeah, I'm there!" and then decide at the last minute you feel like watching reruns of  "Friends" instead, or think "...well, maybe I'll catch up on my sleep instead tonite..."

New York City is a great town to just SEE. Sit around and absorb. If we can do it again, don't miss the chance. Just go! Catch up on sleep another night, when you're stuck in your boring house, on sleep on your shitty job. You won't regret it...

Stay tuned. If this particular show falls thru, we will be there on another night, and we are already being asked back to different NYC venues. Don't take your neighborhood FUX for granted! Jump on the FUX Bus first chance you get!

New York Scene

""...very entertaining... great stage presence... we want you back...

                        - Pauline Rumor, booking, 13 Little Devils, NYC

The August 11 New York city show at 13 Little Devils, a new lower east side venue, provided a PA, nice rather large room, and the common predictable fatal circumstances: The bands are judged strictly on how many people's asses they dragged there, and no one gives a fuck if you know an A-note from an A-hole. And, as expected, the one local band that did bring some people promptly took all of them with them once they were done.

But the Fux must have done something right, we were asked to perform again that night, people or not. It was nice to think that performance and presence held so much weight. In fact, we are being asked back there on the premise that if we can play on some kind of regular, monthly basis, the crowd will develop.

So with any luck, we'll be there more often. We'd like you in NYC to see what we have to offer, it impressed the 13 Little Devils... Of course any of y'all in A-town can go with us if we hit the city in the future, but meanwhile we are back there this Tuesday Aug 17 to further carve out our nitch in very, very competitive NYC scene at the Continental, and we DO want to bring people, so give Roman a call and tag along. It don't cost ya nothing to go, and you won't have to worry about driving so you can drink, relax, crash, etc. A great way to go in and out of NYC.

You have NYC this Wed Aug 11, it's a new place  trying to make a go of it on Manhattan's lower east side. The Fux were lucky enough to be asked to get there thru NYC rush hour traffic from Allentown PA to do the opening 7:30 slot. OK!

Fux in Wilmington DE this Saturday Aug 14 and it's the result of many frustrating attempts for an all age show in that area. We'll be there, in a dark, dirty basement...and so will your daughters. Here's the correspondence, or use the map links on the DATES page:

If you can't get out of our town, there's a rare Allentown show the next day at Banana Joe's, and I believe it's over 18 to enter, 21 to drink and shit like that.

Finally, at the end of the month, two shows, all ages in P-burg NJ and all ADOLTS in Philly. More details later if you want 'em.

August 8

It looks like we have a few of the Washington House girls ready to go to NYC on Wed Aug 17 with us, so I guess we have to get a bigger van somehow. All that means for you is-there's more room for you! Fux and Fuckettes, get the day off and round up your friends. We gonna have fun!

Maybe we should make a day of it, you know, go up early, float around Manhattan a bit, eat hot dogs and watch Japanese tourists looking up all the time taking pictures. Don't forget to wave  your FUX T-shirts in front of the Good Morning America cameras.
